DIY Denim Basket:

Needables:

  • old denims,
  • a pair of scissors,
  • a sewing machine,
  • a container to use as a model for your basket

Method:

  • If you are familiar with twinning and tying knots then this basket is an easy task for you to achieve.
  • Cut 1″ wide strips from you jeans and sew them end to end to make a long strip of cloth.
  • The number of strips depends on the size of your basket.
  • Begin with tie a knot at the centre with strips you have and start weaving by passing the strips above and below.
  • Once the base is complete , place the model container and twine along the edges.
  • Depending on the size, you may have to add strips of fabric.
  • Once you have completed weaving, cut the extra strips and fold them inside the basket or sew or glue them.

  5. The next time I read a blog, I hope that it doesn’t disappoint me as much as this one. I mean, I know it was my choice to read, but I actually thought you’d have something interesting to say. All I hear is a bunch of whining about something that you could fix if you weren’t too busy looking for attention.
