  • Dusting a ceiling fan has always been tough.Here is a simple idea. Carefully slide the pillowcase across the fan blade, the dust will fall into the pillowcase and not on the floor.


  • To clean a shower head , fill a small bag with white vinegar and tie it around the shower head. After letting it sitting overnight, all of the dirt and grime would vanish.




  • Inorder to get rid of soap scum on shower doors and sinks , Spray the inside of glass shower doors with nonstick spray and watch the scum and hard water residue disappear. Wait 5 – 10 min and clean with absorbent cloth to remove the residue
  • To clean a blender fill it with warm water and a drop of dish soap. Turn it on and let it go for a for a few seconds. Then rinse it out with warm water.
  • Sponges can pick up a lot of bacteria, especially if they’re left in the sink. To clean it just pop it in the microwave for 30 seconds. Just wait a minute or two before pulling out since it’ll still be hot.
  • You can easily clean your iron by running it hot (no steam) over a piece of paper or foil covered with salt.
  • Just sprinkle some baking soda in the shoes to keep them smelling fresh, and then when you’re ready to wear them again, just tap it out outside.
  • To clean a microwave oven , Put equal amounts of water and vinegar in a microwave-safe bowl along with a small wooden object, like a toothpick, to prevent boiling or other dangers. Then set it on high for 5 to 10 minutes. Wait a couple minutes to let it cool, then wipe down the inside of the microwave with a sponge or paper towel. 
  • Use rubbing alcohol and a microfiber cloth to remove nail polish from the carpet.
  • To Clean your shower curtain liner in the washing machine , throw in some regular detergent or baking soda along with a few towels with the liner to help scrub away the toughest stains.
